Akrafjall, (643 m) a mountain between Hvalfjörður and Grunnafjörður, the nesting place of huge numbers of gulls.
An outlawed thief spent the summer on the mountain in 1756. Farmers formed a search party to look for him in the autumn, but he sneaked himself into the search party and helped them search, thus avoiding capture.
