Álftavatn, a deep lake with good fishing. Two cabins built by the Touring Club of Iceland in 1979. The lodges are located in a beautiful spot on the north site of lake Álftavatn. A warden is appointed during the months of June, July and August. The camping site is located by the lake. Route to Torfahlaup along the lake past the mountain Torfatindur.
