Bakki, a substantial farm, now abandoned. Mentioned in a story about Gunnar Þiðrandabani (“Þiðrandi’s bane”). Some old relics have been found in ruins there. Around the turn of the century a great slab of stone was found during a dig. When it was raised they found a hollow beneath it. It was decided not to go on down into the hollow, the slab was replaced and a wall built on top of it. It is thought they had found the hiding place of Gunnar Þiðrandabani.
