Línakradalur, (“Flax fields valley”) a shallow valley between Miðfjörður and Víðidalur to the south of Vatnsnesfjall, with Reykjarbunga and Bessaborg on the south side. The name seems to indicate the cultivation of flax but may simply refer to cotton grass.
