Díma

Jökulsá í Lóni, a big river coming from the eastern side of Vatnajökull. A major tributary is Skyndidalsá, coming from the glacier Lambatungujökull. Formerly difficult to ford, now bridged by one of the longer bridges of Iceland (247m). Díma, a cliff skerry in the river bed a little above the road, is a protected natural feature.
