Drangsnes, a village and trading place. Fishing and fish processing. Just beyond the town there is a rock called Kerling (Old woman), with distinct human facial features. According to local tales, this is a troll woman who was turned into stone by the sun near the Malarhorn mountain ridge. A signboard at the site, telling the troll woman´s story in Icelandic and two other languages.
