Drekagil, (“Dragon canyon”) in the eastern part of Dyngjufjöll. A cabin called Dreki built by the Touring Club of Akureyri. From here track F910 goes south by Dyngjufjöll, north of Trölladyngja and Tungnafellsjökull, joining Sprengisandsleið (F26) at Tómasarhagi. From Dreki to Tómasarhagi is about 100 km. This route is only safe with two or more vehicles travelling in tandem.
