Eyvindarstaðir, a farm on the Álftanes peninsula. Residence of Sveinbjörn Egilsson (1791–1852), rector of Lærði skólinn in Reykjavík and author of Lexicon Poëticum, a dictionary of poetic language. The childhood home of his son, the poet and naturalist Benedikt Gröndal (1826–1907).
