Langanesströnd, the coast between the peninsulas Langanes and Digranes east of Bakkafjörður. There are three short fjords on the Bakkaflói bay: Finnafjörður, Miðfjörður and Bakkafjörður or Sandvík. Little real flat land, but big, low moors inland, from which run many streams. Similar scenery to that in Þistilfjörður. Farms now only along the coast, formerly also on the moors.
