Galtastaðir fram, farm, dating from 1882, with living quarters above the cow–house, a storeroom, a kitchen with a stone stove, a pantry and a barn. It gives a good impression of how ordinary people in Iceland lived, using their cows as a source of heat. In the keeping of the National Museum since 1976.
