Gilsbakki, a church and manor farm, formerly a parsonage, famous in poems and Sagas. Gunnlaugur Ormstunga (“Serpent–tongue”), a hero of the Sagas, came from there. The farm’s land is rich in salmon and trout and formerly it had swan hunting as well. Fine views.
