Hánefsstaðir

Hánefsstaðir, a farm where Eiríkur Hjartarson (1885–1981) started experimental forestry many years ago, but later gave all the land to the Eyjafjörður Forestry Club, which has since sold the farm but not the woodland. Monument to Eiríkur.
