Hofmannaflöt, a grassy area east of the mountain Ármannsfell.
A track leads from there east through the Goðaskarð pass and north of the Tindaskagi mountains to the mountain Skriða (1,005 m) and to Hlöðuvellir fields.
From Hlöðuvellir there is also a track south across Rótarsandur sands and the mountain Miðdalsfjall to the Laugardalur valley (see Road 37). It is possible to drive round Hlöðufell.
