Hof, a church, parsonage, historically important manor farm. Home of Brodd–Helgi and his son Bjarni Brodd–Helgason, mentioned in Vopnfirðinga saga. Among pastors who served there was Einar Jónsson (1853–1931) one of Iceland’s best genealogists. There are a number of old ruins on the land of Hof.
