Hólar, a farm with remains of a 19th century turf farmhouse. In the care of the National Museum since 1990. A wooden church built in 1853 by the same carpenter as built the turf church at Saurbær. Just south of Hólar is Hólavatn, a fishing–lake and camp for Christian youth.
