Hrafnagil, a manor farm now and in the past, a church till 1862, parsonage till 1919. Þorgils skarði was slain there in 1258. Among famous clergymen who lived there were Bishop Jón Arason. A school and a swimming pool. Jólagarðurinn, (the Christmas Garden), the first of its kind in Iceland.
