Hraunsfjörður

Hraunsfjörður, a narrow fjord, the first fjord in Iceland to have been bridged – at Mjósund. At the head of the fjord are the abandoned farms Árnabotn, Fjarðarhorn and Þórólfsstaðir. There are two fine, high waterfalls there, and an old track over Tröllaháls ridge to Eyrarbotn in Kolgrafarfjörður.
