Hreggsgerði, or Hestgerði, a farm by the mountain Borgarhafnarfjall, where the lagoons almost reach the mountains. Fishermen sailed from the nearby Kambstún, but this was discontinued after a serious shipwreck around 1570 when 53 men were lost. Many local names and remains point to the activities of fishermen.
