Keflavíkurflugvöllur

Keflavík Airport, international airport on Miðnesheiði moor, built by Americans during and after the Second World War, later handed over to Icelanders.

Outside the terminal building are the sculptures Þotuhreiður (“Jet Nest”) by Magnús Tómas­son and Regnboginn (“Rainbow”) by Rúrí.
