A hike into the mountains from Hveragerði takes you to this geothermal pool which forms part of the river in the Reykjadalur valley. This is a geothermal site and some pools are hotter than others. Be careful, you can be seriously injured by steaming hot pools in the area. The hike can take up to 90 minutes and good shoes are necessary.
