Kyrpingsfjall, (98 m) gravel ridges rising to the north between the Laxá river and the valley Torfdalur. The southernmost and lowest ridge nearest Laxá is called Gullbrekka, below which is Gullkelda, a deep bog into which the farm Gullbrekka is said to have sunk with its occupants at the death of Þorgerður or Þorbjörg kólka of Kólkunes.
