Laxárdalsheiði, (200 m), a moor, traversed by Laxárdalsvegur (Road 59) between the villages Búðardalur and Borðeyri. Two Laxá rivers flow down from there, one to Hvammsfjörður, the other to Hrútafjörður. Flattish with many lakes, the biggest being Laxárvatn.
