Mávahlíð, an old manor below Búlandshöfði. Frequently mentioned in Eyrbyggja Saga. Mávahlíð and Brimilsvellir were formerly considered extremely attractive properties. A well–known quatrain on the happiness of marrying Margrét, the daughter of the family at Ingjaldshóll, who was going to inherit them, is evidence of this.
