Sauðlauksdalur

Sauðlauksdalur, a church and former parsonage in a small valley. Sea and sand erosion. Trout lake. The Rev. Björn Halldórsson (1724–94) was noted for his horticultural activities. He was the first to grow potatoes in Iceland and the first to begin anti–erosion work, building the Ranglátur wall, still visible.
