Saxa, an unusual bottleneck phenomenon just north of the buildings at Lönd, formed by shoreline cliffs which constrict bigger ocean swells until they spout high into the air at Saxa‘s landward end.
Its name refers to slicing or cutting, and fits well with how Saxa chops up quantities of seaweed, hurling the bits onto the cliffs.
