Skorradalsháls, a ca. 28 km long ridge from the Kýrmúli spur and in as far as Eiríksvatn. Mostly over 300 m high. Not an old place–name, but sections of it are derived from the names of local farms. For example, Krossöxl (“Cross shoulder”) above the farm Kross and Kistufell a little farther on. Above Skarð is Skarðshnöttur with two side–valleys: Skarðsdalur and Tötradalur.
