Skorradalsvatn, a 16 km long lake going right down the valley. Area 14.7 km2, maximum depth 48 m. The bed of the lake was formed by a glacier, which left a ridge closing the mouth of the valley.
The Andakílsá river flows out of the lake, its waters being used in the Andakílsá power station.
