Skorradalur

Skorradalur, the southernmost of the Borgarfjörður valleys, 28 km long but narrow. Widespread birch–bushes.

In recent years the Forestry Service has done extensive forestation there, developing a quite luxuriant conifer woods.National Forest.

The settler Skorri is buried at Skorrahólar a good way up the valley.
