Skrokkalda

Inn með Öldum, (“In along the ridges”) a collective name for the road (or tracks) from the bridge on the Kaldakvísl river to the Nýidalur valley. This country is very barren and rocky. From south to north the four main ridges along the route are, Þveralda (728 m), Hnöttóttaalda (785 m), Skrokkalda (922 m) and Kistualda (786 m).
