This old abandoned building was given a revival when an exhibition honouring the poet Steinn Steinarr, was opened in 2015. Steinshús, meaning Stein’s house was the birthplace of the poet. Today it also houses a small coffee shop for visitors. It is 3km north of road 61 on the road 635.
