There are numerous marked hiking paths in the Súðavík area, including an old mail route leading from the bottom of Álftafjörður fjord, over to Önundafjörður fjord. There is also a good campsite and a family park Raggagarður, with recreational equipments. The Arctic Fox, a research and exhibition centre, focusing on the arctic fox.
