Svalbarðsströnd, a coast and mountainside east of Eyjafjörður, below Vaðlaheiði, between the farms Varðgjá and Miðvík at Víkurskarð. The northernmost part of it is commonly called Kjálki. Very little lowland though there are some broad terraces in the mountainside, providing a good deal of space for cultivation in the southern parts. Grassy areas along the coast, many farms.
