Úthérað, the district from Eyvindará all the way to the sea, divided in two settlements, Eiðaþinghá on the south side and Hjaltastaðarþinghá or Útmannasveit on the north side. On the east side of the district are high picturesque tuff and basalt mountains. The highest ones are Beinageitarfjall 1107 m and Dyrfjöll 1136 m.
