Úthlíð, a farm since the original settlement, a church until recently. Extensive lavafield, Úthlíðarhraun, widely grown with birch bushes north of there. Some ruins of the heathen temple of Geir goði can be seen in the homefield, e.g. a sacrificial blood bowl, also what is believed to be his burial mound.
