The largest known private bird collection in Iceland can be enjoyed at Sigurgeir’s Bird Museum in Ytri-Neslönd. The museum has a comprehensive collection of all the breeding birds of Iceland except the Grey Phalarope. The view over the Mývatn lake from the museum is beautiful.
