Tungusveit, the district between the Héraðsvötn lakes to the east and the rivers Húseyjarkvísl and Svartá to the west. Some high rocky ridges, with marsh and moorland. About 200 m high in the north and 350 m in the south. Known as Reykjatunga in the north and Eggjar farther south.
