Kerlingarfjall, (585 m) a mountain on the east side of the Kerlingarskarð pass. Vatnaheiði forms a deep depression in the mountain range a short way west of Kerlingarskarð. There are three angling lakes on the heath: Baulárvallavatn, Hraunsfjarðarvatn and Selvallavatn.
