Almannaskarð, (153 m) a narrow mountain pass between Hornafjörður and Lón. Steep scree mountains on both sides, Skarðstindur (488 m) on the north, Hádegistindur (“Midday peak”) (724 m) and Klifatindur (890 m) on the south. There is a fine view to the west from Almannaskarð.
