Kollóttadyngja, (1,177 m) a shield volcano with an 800 m wide crater at the top. In the floor of the crater, which is 30 m deep, there is a 70 m deep basin. One of the most regular shield volcanoes in Iceland. At Bræðrafell to the south of Kollóttadyngja there is a cabin belonging to the Touring Club of Akureyri, built in 1960.
