Landmannahellir, a cave, a good place for a break on the old Dómadalur pass. The cave itself was once used as accommodation for those who had to travel through the highland pastures. Today at Landmannahellir there are fine cabins with decent facilitie designed to accommodate tourists and their travel horses.
