Dyngjujökull, one of Iceland’s biggest outlet glaciers. Late on warm summer days melt water comes roaring off the glacier creating huge rivers that flow all over the sands east of the volcano Urðarháls. These are called Síðdegisflæður (“Evening morasses”) and are very dangerous for all motor vehicles.
