Víðidalur, a wide, green valley, with low hills on the western side and Víðidalsfjall (993 m) on the eastern side. The river Víðidalsá flows through the valley, a good salmon river, coming from Stórisandur, total length 65 km. Another river connects with Víðidalsá, Fitjá, there you can find a great fishing spot called Kerafossar.
