Ystafell, a farm, long the home of Sigurður Jónsson (1852–1926), the great cooperative leader and Minister of State. The birthplace in 1902 of the Federation of Icelandic Cooperatives, to which there is a memorial. Part of the protected Fells skóg ur woods near Kinnarfell. An interesting transport exhibition, with vehicles of all ages and types open to the public.
