Hruni, a farm, church and a parsonage. The birthplace of Earl Gissur Þorvaldsson (1208–1268). A well–known folktale, the Dance in Hruni, is connected with this place. The church once stood on a cliff above the present farm, and people would dance, drink and play cards in the church on Christmas night. One Christmas the Devil appeared and dragged the church building and all the people down into the underworld.
