Örlygsstaðir, a substantial farm on the Skagi peninsula, one of the so–called Brekkubæir. The home, in the 16th century, of Guðmundur Andrésson, one of the men who killed Clerk Kristján and his Danish followers in 1551 in revenge for the execution of the last Catholic Bishop in Iceland, Jón Arason, and his sons .
