Reykjahverfi, a farming area between the farms Laxamýri and Geitafell to the south. To the west is the Hvammsheiði moor, and to the east moors rising up towards the Lambafjöll mountains and Reykjaheiði. Heat has been piped from Reykjahverfi 18 km to Húsavík for domestic heating.
