Þeistareykir, an abandoned farm towards the south of Reykjaheiði moor. Much geothermal heat and some sulphur mines, which were operated at one time. Good shepherd’s hut. South of there is the mountain Bæjarfjall (570 m). Jeep–track from the Reykjaheiðarvegur road and Hólasandur.
