Norðfjörður, a short fjord between the spur Hellisfjarðarmúli (558 m) on the south and the peak Norðfjarðarnípa (609 m) on north, the northernmost of three small fjords going off a common bay, the other two being Hellisfjörður and Viðfjörður. At the head of the fjord is Fannardalur, a longish, grassy valley.
